Integrated Gas

Shell is the IOC leader in both liquefied natural gas (LNG) and gas-to-liquids (GTL). Today, Shell is present across the full LNG value chain, in what is still the fastest growing sector of the natural gas market. This includes oil and gas production, liquefaction, marketing, gas distribution, shipping, trading and regasification. With our GTL products, our downstream business can maximise the revenue generated through marketing, thereby attracting a growing premium over traditional oil-based products. We have also established new energies in Shell to explore and invest in new low-carbon opportunities, which in many ways complement Shell’s Integrated Gas business. In 2016, Integrated Gas was established as a separate reporting segment in Shell.
