Our Projects & Technology organisation manages the delivery of our major projects and drives research and innovation. Projects & Technology provides services to Shell operating companies, joint ventures and third parties. It is also responsible for providing expertise across Shell in the areas of safety and the environment, contracting and procurement, wells activities and the management of greenhouse gases.

Projects & Technology mainly generates income from service fees.

In our consolidated financial statements, the financial information for Projects & Technology is included in the Integrated Gas, Upstream and Downstream reporting segments. More than 12,000 people work in technology centres, offices and sites around the world for Projects & Technology, which has centres in the Netherlands, India, the USA and the UK.
